Backup Exchang Server แล้วที่ Protection Status ขึ้นว่า 'Replica Inconsistent'

ในการ Backup Exchange Server หลังจากที่เราลง Agent ของ DPM ไปแล้วจะต้องทำการ Copy ไฟล์ esutil.exe และ ese.dll ในโฟลเดอร์ %Program Files%\Microsoft\Exchang Server\Bin ของเครื่อง Exchange Server ไปไว้ที่โฟลเดอร์ %Program Files%\Microsoft DPM\DPM\bin ดังรูป

หลังจากนั้นทำการ Refresh Information ที่ชื่อเครื่อง Exchange Server ในแทบ Management > Agents

ไปที่แทบ Protection แล้วทำการ Perform consistency check อีกที
Protection Status ก็จะขึ้นสถานะเป็น OK

Backup System state Active Directory (AD) Protection Status ขึ้นว่า 'Replica Inconsistent'

...ปัญหานี้จะเกิดกับ Windows Server 2008 กับ Windows Server 2008 R2 เนื่องจากไม่ได้ติดตั้ง Windows Server Backup Feature มาโดยดีฟอลล์ เนื่องจากในการ Backup System state นั้น DPM Agent จะไม่ได้ทำการ Backup เองจะไปสั่งงานให้ Windows Backup ทำการ Backup อีกทีหนึ่ง วิธีการแก้ไขสำหรับปัญหานี้คือ 1. ไปที่เครื่องที่เราต้องการ Backup จากนั้นทำการ Add Windows Server Backup Feature เข้ามา

2. ที่ DPM Administrator Console ไปที่แทบ Management แล้วคลิกขวาที่ชื่อเครื่องที่เราได้ทำการ Add Windows Server Backup Feature เข้ามาแล้ว จากนั้นเลือก Refresh Information

3.จากนั้นกลับไปที่แทบ Protection แล้วสั่ง Perform Consistency check ใหม่

หลังจาก Consistency check เสร็จแล้ว Protection Status ก็จะเปลี่ยนเป็น OK
